A collection of different placebolike tools, which facilitate an imaginary form of invisibility, assembled as artifacts of hiding. The spacial gaps are filled with audio, forming the questions: Who needs to hide and why? How do we shape an environment which renders hiding unnecessary?
MNEMO – neue Narrative 2019

A fluid, evergrowing archive of a village, its memories and perspectives of a collective past. During a period of 6 weeks the selection of documents can be expanded with personal material and memories of the village members, rearranged and rereaded. Through breaking a temporal chronology and rearrangements in spacial/geographic oder associa-tive parameters the direction of reading gets distracted, multiplied and subjectivized.

The repetitive act of digitalising a family slide archive defines the base for questioning established narratives, the connection between memory and medium and its consequence for ones own reception of these kind of images.
