This project is a video installation of 15 clips that will be shown on six screens. The themes are: fragility, subtlety, uncertainly and mistery, topics which i’ve always tried to incorporate in my works. These videos show ambiguous characters who have a relationship with the place. At first we do not know whether it is animate or inanimate objects, so the observer, that is in turn observed from these figures, becomes part of the work by creating in him a kind of uncertainty. These videos will be shown in a dark room and on six different screens. The screens will have different formats and be mounted on different walls. One video plays, while the others are not, and between the videos there is one to two minute break. Here below 7 of the 15 clips.
The paintings full of powerful material were created with “poor” elements and collected in old abandoned factories. Subsequently they were inserted into these abandoned places and documented in an installation photo work, creating a relationship and a fusion between matter of painting and that which resides in these factories.

This work is inspired by the concept of “Diorama” which can be defined either as a representation of a specific place or location, or, more often, as an artificial reproduction of nature and animals. Starting from this point, I decided to create an installation which purpose was to perform the exact opposite action:
Is not about artificially reproducing reality (in this case a natural spot) but on the contrary is about transforming the reality to make it appear as an imitation of itself creating a kind of “artificial Diorama”.
This is a photographic work of old abandoned factories, where the artist sometimes creates small installations using materials that are offered by the place. In this way the viewer doesn’t know if what he observes is the artists work or pure randomness.
