Installation

Dogstation was a two-part complex installation by Morakot Juntaratip. In the middle of a room were several ailing toy dogs with bandages lying on plastic mantled iron grates. The dogs watch cartoons and documentaries on two monitors as the sound of whining dogs plays in the background. Huge bouquet of flowers positioned in the middle of the dogs evoke associations of comfort ans artificiality. Roughly screened pictures on the walls completed the installation.
